Comfortis

Is the newest flea prevention; It is the only month-long flea protection available in a beef-flavored, chewable tablet. For dogs and puppies 14 weeks and older.
  Heartworm Prevention

Heartgard

Heartgard is given once monthly by mouth to dogs and cats to protect against heartworm disease, roundworms and hookworms. This is a prescription medication. Therefore, hospital policy requires an annual examination and heartworm test prior to purchase.
   
Interceptor

Interceptor is given by mouth once monthly to dogs to prevent heartworms, roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms.  We carry this heartworm prevention mainly for our Collie breeds which are sensitive to Ivermectin. This is a prescription medication.  Therefore, hospital policy requires an annual examination and heartworm test prior to purchase.
   

Revolution

Revolution is the heartworm prevention we recommend for our feline patients 8 weeks and older.  It is easy to apply to the back of the neck once a month and it protects against heartworms, roundworms, hookworms, fleas, and ear mites.  This is also a prescription medication and hospital policy requires an annual examination prior to purchase.

 
   

Sentinel

Sentinel is the only monthly oral medicine that prevents heartworm disease and fleas.  It also protects against hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms.  This is a prescription medication.  Therefore, hospital policy requires an annual examination and heartworm test prior to purchase.
