Dr. Brown:

A native of Vernon, Texas, Dr. Mike Brown graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1975. He practiced almost two years in clinics in Dallas and Seabrook before opening Brown Animal Clinic in 1977. With a special interest in dermatology, he enjoys all aspects of general medicine and keeps current with annual continuing education. Married to his high school sweetheart, Dr. Brown and his wife have two married children, four grandchildren, two dogs, and one cat. His wife, Kay, assists the clinic as a part time business manager.

Dr. Mabe:

Dr. Mabe has lived in the Houston area her entire life and has loved animals since she was a little girl. Being a veterinarian has always been her dream. She graduated from Baylor University in 1995 with a degree in Spanish and The University of Houston-Clear Lake in 1997 with a degree in biology. After teaching a second grade bilingual class, she started veterinary school at Texas A&M and graduated in 2002. Dr. Mabe has a special interest in internal medicine and feline medicine but loves all areas of veterinary medicine. She has been at Brown Animal Clinic since 2004.
 

 Dr. Mabe has been married for over 10 years to her husband Chris and has two human children Sara and Alexander. Her pet children are cats, Leo and Daisy and the newest addition Sophie, a long-haired Dachshund.

Tracy:

I have been in the veterinary profession for sixteen years. I started my employment at Brown Animal Clinic January 1998 as a veterinary technician. I was promoted to office manager in March 2000.

I have a strong love for animals. It gives me a sense of pride to know that I am helping these little fuzzy creatures maintain a happy, healthy life. My favorite aspect of the veterinary profession is the owner / animal bond. I enjoy seeing the pets interact with their owners. I have always believed that you can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat their animals.

Now, a little about my family… I have two children, Claire and Kendall and two cats and two dogs -Bongo, Cami and Gracy and Shasta. Sometimes you may see my Schnauzer, Gracy, filling in as the receptionist.
